Arla launches fresh dairy and plant based barista milk
Arla Foods, the UKs largest dairy cooperative, is launching Arla Barista and Arla JÖRĐ Oat Barista, as it aims to capitalise on the growing trend for fresh barista milk by offering both plant based and dairy products, under the Arla brand.
Both products have been developed with expert baristas to drive a younger shopper to the fresh fixture and are set to launch this month.
Arla JÖRĐ Oat Barista (1L) offers a creamy smooth oat milk which has been created to handle high temperatures and foam beautifully without separating in the cup whether serving hot, cold or creating perfect latte art. Made using Nordic Oats and fortified with Fibre, vitamin D and Folic Acid (B9) to provide a taste that’s utterly delicious.
Arla Fresh Barista milk (1L) has the perfect balance of fat and protein to create silky smooth micro-foam at home.
Speaking about the launches, Stuart Ibberson, Arla brand and sustainability director, said: “The trend of coffee consumption at home is set to continue and be a strong volume driver for milk – and as the UK’s largest dairy cooperative, we want to ensure our shoppers have access to the best fresh products that will help them to create indulgent coffee moments at home.
“Dairy will always be at the heart of our cooperative business, and it’s our ambition to continue to build momentum behind the Arla brand. With Arla JÖRĐ now being an official part of the Arla family, we have spotted a unique opportunity to offer both fresh plant based and dairy barista products to give shoppers the opportunity to make their plant based or dairy choices within the Arla brand.”
Arla Barista and Arla JÖRĐ Oat Barista will be available in the chilled fixtures instore.
