An additional investment of up to £20 million is to be injected into Arla's new dairy at Stourton, south Leeds to provide new Cravendale production facilities.

Sales of the branded milk are continuing to soar and the investment is necessary to meet the increasing demand.

The new facility at Stourton will complement existing Cravendale production at Arla's Hatfield Peverel dairy, Essex, ensuring that Cravendale has a presence in both the north and south of the UK.

Arla Foods UK plc is home to some of the UK’s leading dairy brands including Cravendale, Lurpak and Anchor.
