Arla Foods scoops gold award
Arla Foods has scooped the Grocer magazine's gold award for best own label supplier in the dairy section for the second year running.
Matthew Foods came second and Robert Wiseman and Dairy Crest joint third.
According to The Grocer, own label suppliers need to be more than manufacturers: they must also be analysts, designers, business advisors and futurists too. Judges said that Arla proved conclusively that it meets all these requirements.
