Arla scoops double accolade at Product of the Year Awards
Yeo Valley Organic 1L milk carton and Starbucks® Chilled Classics Multiserve to receive iconic red Product of the Year logo.
Arla Foods, the UK’s biggest dairy company, has won two awards at this year’s Product of the Year ceremony with Yeo Valley Organic and Starbucks® Chilled Coffee.
Starbucks® Chilled Classics Multiserve has scooped Product of the Year 2023 in the Chilled Coffee Category. Yeo Valley Organic has been recognised for its innovative 1L semi-skimmed and whole milk carton, within the Milk and Milk Alternative category. The new carton uses 70% less plastic versus its previous 1L bottle – that’s 16g less plastic for every pack sold.
As the biggest and most comprehensive study of product innovation in the UK, which is now in its 19th year, the Product of the Year Awards continue to provide a unique platform to celebrate the products we use every day but often take for granted for their quiet innovation. These are the heroes of the everyday, that make our lives that bit simpler, easier and more enjoyable.
Holly Twiss, Brand Manager at Yeo Valley Organic, said: “We’re thrilled that our 1 Litre carton has been recognised at this year’s Product of the Year Awards. As organic farmers, we always strive to put nature first, which is why we switched our 1L fresh organic milk from plastic bottles, to fully plant-based cartons. By making this change, we have cut the carbon footprint for our packaging by more than half.”

Research has been independently conducted in association with the world’s leading data and insights company, Kantar. Brands that are fortunate to ‘walk away’ with a coveted trophy also win the right to feature the iconic red Product of the Year logo - an instantly recognisable symbol of product excellence.
