Dream holiday for Cravendale customer
Thanks to a competition run by Somerfield and Cravendale a family will be going on their dream holiday to Florida.
Rosina Thorn from Birmingham won the £7,500 holiday to Florida by entering a national competition to find out why milk lovers choose Cravendale.
The competition was open to all Somerfield magazine readers throughout the UK but Rosina's amusing entry about Cravendale milk - "If it was any fresher I'd be milking the cow!" - stood out from the thousands of other entries. It was 'simple, creative, original and witty', said the judges.
"It has been a life long dream to take a trip to Florida so I am delighted to have won this prize for myself and my family, we are all very excited," said Rosina.
Cravendale sales have grown steadily in Somerfield and Kwiksave since its rollout. Simon Brown, business manager for Somerfield and Kwiksave said: "This promotion increased sales as well as successfully meeting our objectives of encouraging trial and repeat purchase."
