Yorkshire Butter spreads to greens
Bowlers are being buttered up this summer thanks to sponsorship from Arla.
Yorkshire Butter, which is produced at Arla Foods Settle Creamery, has contributed prize money to two major tournaments in the country.
And interest in the sport must be spreading as all 128 places for the Yorkshire Butter Classic were taken up weeks in advance.
Yorkshire Butter banners will decorate the greens and there will be sampling opportunities at the qualifying games and the final.
Also being backed is the Yorkshire Butter Pudsey Classic, for which qualifying rounds start in August leading to the final at Pudsey Bowling Club on October 8.
"Yorkshire Butter is showing good growth and it will certainly enjoy plenty of exposure in these two competitions," said Suzannah Kinsella, group brand manager.
