Arla Foods confirms farmgate milk price increase for July 2022

From 1st July 2022, the Arla on-account price will increase by 2.0 €c/kg for conventional milk and 1.0 €c/kg for organic milk. This will increase Arla’s farmgate milk price for the standard manufacturing litre by 1.66 pence per litre (ppl) to 49.45 ppl for conventional and 0.74 ppl for organic, taking the organic milk price to 55.11 ppl. The quarterly currency exchange rate adjustment will negatively impact the on-account price by 0.12 ppkg.

Arla Foods amba confirms milk price increase for June 2022

From 1 June 2022, there will be an increase of 5.0 €c/kg to the Arla on-account price for both conventional and organic milk. This will increase Arla’s farmgate milk price for the standard manufacturing litre by 4.49 pence per litre to 47.79 ppl for conventional and 54.34 ppl for organic milk.

Over 2,000 Arla farmers are issuing an apology to hay fever sufferers after their successful Bee Road initiative has led to an increase in bee-friendly planting, and in turn, pollen, leading to more itchy eyes and runny noses this summer.

The nation sees ‘planting pollinator patches for bees’ as the most important to encourage biodiversity. However, with a whopping 45 million of us believed to be suffering from hay fever, many will be affected as a result.*

Arla Foods amba confirms milk price increase for May 2022

From 1 May 2022, there will be an increase of 4.0 €c/kg to the Arla on-account price for conventional milk and 3.0 €c/kg for organic milk.

This will increase Arla’s farmgate milk price for the standard manufacturing litre by 3.58 pence per litre to 43.30 ppl for conventional and 49.58 ppl for organic milk.

Arla announces new 5-year growth strategy for the UK

Following the launch of the global Arla Group Future26 strategy, Arla is announcing new growth ambitions in the UK for the next five years – with a heavy focus on strengthening the sustainability, value and efficiency of dairy.

Arla Foods amba confirms milk price increase for April 2022

There will be an increase of 0.5 euro cent to the Arla on-account price for conventional and organic milk from 1 April  2022. However, this will be negatively impacted by 0.12 pence per litre quarterly currency adjustment, meaning that Arla’s farmgate milk price for the standard manufacturing litre will increase by 0.34 pence per litre to 39.72 ppl for conventional and 47.17 ppl for organic milk.
